For over ninety years of glorious history, ninety years of iron-willed honor.  

Today, we celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). From the spark of the Nanchang Uprising to the trials of the Long March; from the bloody battles of the Anti-Japanese War to the decisive victories of the Liberation War; from defending our homeland in the Korean War to safeguarding peace in modern times—the PLA has always been the most reliable pillar of the Party and the people, an iron-clad bastion protecting national sovereignty, security, and development, and a steadfast force for global and regional stability.  

They are the guardians atop snowy peaks, braving wind and snow to defend our borders, measuring every inch of our land with their footsteps. They are the silent warriors beneath the deep sea, safeguarding our maritime territory from intrusion. They are the eagles of the sky, soaring high to protect our airspace, ensuring peace shines upon our land. In times of disaster, they charge forward—wherever danger lurks, their presence is felt. In earthquakes, they dig with bare hands, racing against time to save lives. In floods, they form human walls to shield homes from devastation.
